Our daughter is a junior at Woodinville high school and felt frozen in the college search process because she was not confident in her strengths and was unsure of her passions and true calling. These struggles made it difficult for her to identify specific areas of study she wanted to pursue as she began evaluating colleges and fields of study. Amber helped Lauren overcome these obstacles and identified fields of study and careers where Lauren would be more likely to find success and meet her personal goals and objectives.
The final presentation to our family was informative and gave Lauren the tools she needed to be successful in her college and career search. She left the meeting excited to follow her dreams and passions and was looking forward to digging deeper into potential careers. As her parents, we also gained a better understanding of how Lauren processes information that we will utilize in our communications with her.
We highly recommend using Amber and Thinking People Consulting to help your student understand their calling by exploring their strengths, dreams and passions. We feel our daughter is ready to tackle this next stage in life with a personal desire, clear direction and career confidence she gained from working with Amber.

Working with Amber was a very interesting experience. Amber opened my mind to look into other areas of careers that I wouldn't have considered or looked at had I not done these sessions. She gave me an opportunity to see areas of my personality and how my preferences aligned with specific jobs. She also helped me learn about environments I would do well in.

Working with Amber has been a great experience for our family. Amber put our son, Connor, right at ease and made the whole process really fun. Her evaluation gave him great insight on his strengths and weaknesses and valuable information on possible career paths. Amber has a depth of experience working with people at all stages of their careers spanning a variety of industries. This broad perspective provides a great benefit to families trying to help their teens and young adults navigate their future.

Before I began working with Amber, the idea of career and college searching was very daunting. It felt to me like my high school was not preparing me enough to choose my future career. It is very important to me that I choose a career that I love and am happy to do everyday, but I had no idea where to start. I had a basic idea of the different careers that I could choose from, but other than that, I was pretty much in the dark about the specific fields that I could go into. I was very excited to work with Amber because I wanted learn more about the different kinds of paths I could take that would appeal to my dreams and passions. Amber was very knowledgeable and passionate about what she’s doing and I really enjoyed the program we worked with. In the end, I left with a stronger sense of my own personality, likes, and dislikes, which made it easy for us to explore career paths best suited to me. I feel more confident in my college and career search and less unsure about what lies ahead of me in the future. I would definitely recommend Amber to any students who need assistance in figuring out and getting on a career path that they love. I had an amazing experience and am very happy with the turnout. Thanks Amber!
